Frequently asked questions
How do I cancel my Vari Premium subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID Account Settings on your iPhone. Open Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → tap Vari Premium → Cancel. Your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds for Vari Premium subscriptions are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Vari purchase, and select “Request a refund.” Apple decides each refund case individually.
I granted Apple Health permission but the Insights tab still shows “building your insights.” Why?
The Insights tab needs at least 7 days of paired data before it shows correlations. “Paired” means: for that day, Vari has both a drink log AND the corresponding Apple Health metric (e.g., resting heart rate, sleep duration). Keep logging drinks daily and your first insights will unlock after one week.
Does Vari work offline?
Yes. Drink logging, daily goal calculation, and the Flow Score all work offline. Your logs sync to our servers the next time your phone is online, and nothing is lost in the meantime. Apple Health integration also works offline (it’s all on-device).
Where does my Apple Health data go?
Nowhere except your phone. Vari reads your Apple Health data locally on your device, computes correlations locally, and shows them on the Insights tab. Your Apple Health data is never sent to Vari’s servers. See our Privacy Policy Section 4 for the full technical details.
How do I delete my account and all my data?
In the Vari app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your profile, drink logs, daily scores, and all associated data from Vari’s servers. Account deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. If you’ve connected Apple Health, your data in Apple Health is NOT affected — only the Vari-side copies are deleted.
The app crashed or I found a bug. What should I do?
Email hello@getvari.app with: (1) what you were doing when it happened, (2) your iPhone model and iOS version, and (3) the Vari version (Settings → About). Screenshots or a screen recording are hugely helpful. We read every bug report and respond within 24 hours.
Can I request a new feature?
Yes — email hello@getvari.app with your idea. We prioritize features based on how many users request them and how well they fit the Vari philosophy (intelligent hydration, not calorie-counting or gamification grind). Every feature request gets read.
