By accessing or using Vari ("the Service"), including our website at https://getvari.app, mobile applications, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Vari provides hydration tracking tools, reminders, calculators, and related health and wellness information. The Service is available as a website, iOS app, and Android app.

3. Medical Disclaimer

Vari is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The hydration recommendations, calculators, and health profiles provided are for informational purposes only. They are based on general guidelines from organizations like the National Academy of Medicine, ACOG, and NKF, but should not replace professional medical advice.

Always consult your healthcare provider before making changes to your fluid intake, especially if you have kidney disease, heart failure, diabetes, or are pregnant.

4. User Accounts

You may use basic features without creating an account. Some features require account creation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

5. Subscription and Payments

Vari offers free and premium subscription tiers. Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal policies are governed by the respective app store's terms.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Annual subscribers save 44% compared to monthly billing

6. User Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process your data as described in that policy.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
  • Upload malicious code or content

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vari shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
